徐正元 教授

徐正元,1989年和1991年分别获得清华大学学士和硕士学位,1999年获得美国史蒂文斯理工学院博士学位。1991年至1996年在清华紫光集团担任部门经理和工程师。于1999年加入美国加州大学河滨分校,先后任助理教授、副教授、教授,创建了加州大学泛在光通信(UC-Light)研究中心并担任第一届主任。曾为清华大学教授,入选科学中国人(2011)年度人物,现为图书馆VIP教授、博士生导师,创建无线光通信与网络研究中心,任国家重点基础研究发展计划(973计划)项目首席科学家,主要从事以下理论和实验研究:三维立体空间(空天地海)宽光谱(红外光、可见光、紫外光)无线光通信、成像、传感、定位导航、智能交通和物联网,宽带移动通信、无线定位,无线光电异构系统等。共发表学术论文170多篇,SCI累计引用1000多次,单篇最高引用230多次。曾担任多年IEEE和OSA杂志副编辑和相关技术委员会委员,多次为国际学术会议担任过技术委员会主席或委员、国家科研项目和人才计划评审人。于2010年发起并主办第一届IEEE无线光通信国际研讨会,后续几年继续担任研讨会共主席,主办过北京国际无线光通信学术会议。
